Free UK Tax Calculators for 2026/27

Eight calculators built by the IAK team and updated every April with the new rates and thresholds. No sign-up, no email gate, and the working is shown so you can check the answer.

How these calculators are kept accurate

Every calculator uses the rates and thresholds for the 2026/27 tax year, which runs from 6 April 2026 to 5 April 2027. That includes the £12,570 personal allowance, 8% employee National Insurance, the 10.75%, 35.75% and 39.35% dividend rates, the 18% and 24% capital gains rates, corporation tax at 19% to 25% with marginal relief, and the £90,000 VAT registration threshold. We refresh the figures each April after the Budget and the HMRC rate tables are published.

The results are estimates for guidance. They do not account for every allowance, relief or personal circumstance, and they are not a substitute for advice on your own position. If a result surprises you, or the number is large enough to matter, that is usually the moment to talk to an accountant.

Want the background first? Our insights library explains the rules behind each calculator, from what VAT is and how dividends are taxed to the UK tax year dates.

Need more than a calculator?
